Exploring Earth’s Deepest Mysteries
I’m thrilled to share A Window into the Twilight Zone, a short film I wrote and directed as part of my National Geographic Society Explorers Grant—and which has now been viewed over 30,000 times since its release!
The film takes you aboard the NOAA Ship Henry B. Bigelow with Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution oceanographer Andone Lavery and her team as they unveil a groundbreaking new tool for exploring the Ocean Twilight Zone—a mysterious layer of the ocean beyond the reach of all but the faintest light. This vast, little-known habitat holds secrets that could transform our understanding of deep-ocean life and its role in the health of our planet.
I had the honor of producing this project with an incredible creative and scientific team. Dive in and experience the twilight zone for yourself!
