Nepal: Environmental
Filmmaking
Tell Stories That Matter
This is not a typical film program.
For two weeks in Nepal, you will step into environments where stories are not staged—they are lived. You will learn to observe, listen, and document with intention, working in landscapes where environmental and human narratives are deeply intertwined.
This program is about developing your voice as a filmmaker while learning how to tell stories that are ethical, grounded, and real.
Orientation, cultural context, and story framing in an ancient urban landscape.
Community, conservation, and the everyday narratives of human and natural systems.
Wild environments, wildlife, and the challenge of cinematic storytelling in the field.

Story Over
Spectacle
The most powerful documentary work is built not on dramatic imagery alone, but on trust, patience, and the willingness to truly listen before you press record.
