Tracing the Hidden Paths of Water

Nacido de la Niebla (Born from Mist) is an upcoming cinematic documentary that will journey deep into the cloud forests of northern Argentina, where mist-laden trees capture and release the freshwater sustaining entire ecosystems and communities. Through immersive visuals and the voices of local conservationists, farmers, and youth, the film will explore the delicate balance between nature and human life—and what’s at stake as deforestation and climate change threaten these vital water systems.

As director and producer, I’m leading the development of this project, working closely with local partners to craft a story rooted in place, science, and community. My role focuses on weaving together ecological insight, personal narratives, and stunning imagery to reveal not just the environmental stakes, but the profound cultural ties between people and the land. This film will be both a love letter to the Yungas cloud forest and a call to action for global water stewardship. Stay tuned!
