Sea Monsters Exhibit in the Boston Globe!

Behind the Scenes of Sea Monsters

I’m thrilled to share this fantastic Boston Globe review of Sea Monsters: Real and Imagined, the blockbuster exhibition I had the honor of leading as Exhibit Developer and Writer for the Harvard Museums of Science and Culture.

The exhibition dives deep (pun fully intended) into the worlds of giant marine reptiles, mythical leviathans, and the enduring human fascination with what lurks beneath the waves. We blended paleontological marvels, cultural artifacts, and contemporary marine science to explore why sea monsters have captured imaginations across centuries and continents.

The Globe calls it “a stunning blend of science and storytelling” — exactly the balance we worked so hard to strike. From Jurassic-era fossils to sailors’ tales to bioluminescent deep-sea creatures, the show invites visitors to confront the boundary between the known and the unknown.

If you’re near Boston, come see it! I’m so proud of the creative team and the chance to bring this mysterious, awe-inspiring world to life.
